From New York, change flights in Hong Kong or Manila going west, or Istanbul going east to Bangkok. From Los Angeles, fly west through Hong Kong, Manila or Taipei to Bangkok.
Once in Pattaya, local taxis or shuttle buses can take you to Chonbury in less than an hour.
