Jumeirah Olhahali Island in the Maldives has unveilled an exclusive wellness programme in honour of World Wellness Weekend, scheduled for 20 to 22 September, 2024.
This specially designed event is in harmony with the five pillars of wellness, which are part of an annual, pro bono initiative aimed at supporting the United Nations’ objective of ensuring Good Health and Well-being for everyone, encompassing sleep and creativity, nutrition and immunity, movement and vitality, mindfulness and serenity, as well as purpose and solidarity.
With one bespoke activity per day aligning with each of the five pillars, guests can indulge in purpose-nurturing experiences such as:
- Purpose and solidarity.
- Movement and vitality.
- Mindfulness and serenity.
- Sleep and creativity.
- Nutrition and immunity.
During World Wellness Weekend, activities are offered à la carte, with free sessions and others ranging from $60 to $250 per person, providing guests with the flexibility to customise their wellness experience to fit their preferences and schedules.
Additionally, outside of the World Wellness Weekend events, guests can indulge in the year-round wellness amenities at Jumeirah Olhahali Island’s Talise Spa.
The spa features five independent treatment villas with floor-to-ceiling windows and glass floors under the treatment beds, allowing guests to observe the dynamic marine life during treatments such as Tibetan crystal healing massages. Beyond the treatment villas, the resort offers beachside tennis courts for private coaching sessions and a private island where guests can experience moonlit massages on the sandbank, rooftop yoga and more.
