The Dreaming, founded by singer and activist Charlotte Church, is a wellness retreat located in the beautiful Elan Valley in Wales. It provides an escape from modern life’s complexities, helping people reconnect with nature, themselves, and their personal journeys. The Dreaming offers a variety of activities, from daily wellness sessions to residential retreats with specialist practitioners, all designed to be in harmony with the seasons.

Retreats
They hold regular retreats every week called ‘The Nurturer’ and ‘The Journeyer’, alongside a series of specialist retreats throughout the year that are designed and curated for a specific purpose.
Retreats include three nights accommodation, a healthy breakfast specialist retreat sessions and workshops, two natural plunge pools for wild bathing, free roaming of 47 acres of ancient woodland, digital Detox and nature walks.

How to Get There
By car type in the postcode LD6 5HB. As you drive along the final stretch of the B4518 (travelling from Rhayader, pictured below), you’ll see a light blue house on your left, take the second right turn after this.
Llandrindod Railway Station is the advised station to arrive at from which you either take a couple of buses and a walk, or a taxi. Local taxi companies are George’s Taxis (07498729724), Green Taxis (07436245957) or Adeys Taxi’s (01597 822118). Booking ahead is recommended. More precise details can be found here.
