The Sarojin Yoga For The Community Initiative

Luxury Thai Resort The Sarojin yoga initiative launched

The Sarojin, Thailand’s opulent boutique residence, has introduced the ‘Yoga for the Community’ initiative, inviting guests to participate in regular yoga classes that benefit the local community.

Conducted by The Sarojin’s skilled yoga instructor every Tuesday and Friday (8-9 am), these sessions offer an hour of rejuvenating stretches and exercises aimed at soothing both body and mind. Set in a shaded pavilion amidst the resort’s verdant gardens, these exclusive classes accommodate up to four guests each session. At a cost of 400 THB (approximately £8.60) per individual, all proceeds are directed to The Sarojin Community Care Fund.

The fund, created in 2004 following the catastrophic Boxing Day tsunami, continues its mission to support local initiatives, including medical aid, infrastructure repair and assistance to orphanages, schools and wildlife projects. Guests are welcomed to contribute, with all donations fully allocated to local efforts, and are invited to partake in The Sarojin team’s volunteer days, blending luxury with philanthropy.

Visitors at The Sarojin in Phuket, Thailand this summer can experience the newly launched Yoga for the Community sessions. There’s still a chance to book a stay at special summer rates, with rooms starting at £140 per night until September’s end. The resort also offers private yoga sessions upon request.
